The LQ929 is a compact series of lamp-pumped Nd:YAG lasers designed using a master-oscillator and one-pass amplifier scheme, offering an unmatched balance of key features: high output power, outstanding beam quality, and minimal dimensions of both the laser head and power supply.
Like the LQ529, the master oscillator of the LQ929 laser series features a ring cavity. This design, combined with the use of pump chambers equipped with high-efficiency diffuse reflectors, ensures laser output with a uniform beam profile and outstanding stability in both energy and spatial parameters.
All critical laser components are thermally stabilized, and together with the vibration-resistant design, this guarantees exceptional long-term output stability. The efficient thermostats in the LQ929 allow for a warm-up time of under 10 minutes.
To minimize maintenance time, the LQ929 features a flash lamp with a lifespan exceeding 30 million pulses and is designed for quick and easy replacement.
A closed-loop water-to-air cooling system is built into a compact, single-phase laser power supply, which can be operated either via PC or a remote control unit.
HARMONIC GENERATORS
In its standard configuration, the LQ929 laser comes with a built-in SHG. However, upon request, harmonic generators such as THG, FHG, or FiHG can be provided as separate external modules.
OPO
Upon request, the LQ929 laser can be equipped with an optical parametric oscillator from the LP600 series. This combination provides a source of continuously tunable laser radiation across a broad spectral range, from UV to IR.
ATTENUATOR
The laser can be equipped with a PC-controlled attenuator. You can choose between a unit optimized for operation at a single wavelength or an achromatic attenuator designed to simultaneously attenuate all laser harmonics from 266 nm to 1064 nm.
