SHR-IR : Wide-Range Infrared Wavelength Meter

The SHR-IR spectrometer is an ideal tool for measuring the absolute wavelength value of pulse and CW lasers, as well as diodes, in the spectral range from 600nm to 1800nm with an accuracy of better than ± 15pm. It also allows for detecting the FWHM of the analyzed line.

Description

In addition to wavelength measurement, the SHR-IR provides demonstration of analyzed spectra with a resolution of 4,000 (λ/Δλ, FWHM), ranging from 0.15nm at 600nm to 0.5nm at 1800nm. It also allows real-time monitoring of these values during the tuning of the analyzed wavelength.

The instrument operates without any moving parts, with powering and control managed through a computer via the Full-Speed USB interface. The analyzed light is directed to the entrance slit either through a multimode optical fiber with a diffuse attenuator (included in the delivery set) or directly, without the use of fibers.

In terms of resolution and wavelength precision, the SHR-NIR offers an alternative to a monochromator-spectrograph with a focal length of at least 500mm, paired with a suitable IR detector.

Unlike a monochromator, the SHR-NIR has no moving parts and provides real-time measurements without the need for scanning. It is rigid, stable, and accurate, offering exceptional reliability at a more competitive price.

The SHR-NIR spectrometer is essential for the adjustment, alignment, and testing of laser systems operating in the near-IR spectral range.
