Mirror Condensers TR

Description

The TR series achromatic aspherical mirror condensers are highly versatile optical components designed to significantly enhance the performance of spectroscopic systems—particularly in setups.


Key Applications:

These condensers serve multiple purposes, including:

  • Focusing a point light source onto the excitation monochromator's entrance slit. 
  • Focusing excitation light directly onto the sample. 
  • Collecting emitted light from the sample and focusing it onto the emission monochromator.
  • Coupling emission output efficiently to large-area detectors.


Optical Performance:

  • Aspherical reflective design ensures aberration-free focusing, maximizing light throughput.
  • Completely eliminates transmission losses associated with lens or fiber systems—crucial for UV and IR regions.
  • Achromatic behavior across an extremely wide spectral range (190–5000 nm) due to the use of mirror optics rather than refractive lenses.


Technical Specifications:

  • Coating: Al + MgF₂ (others available on request for specific spectral needs).
  • Front Focal Distance: 46 mm.
  • Back Focal Distance: 61 mm.

These TR condensers are ideal for applications where high optical efficiency, broadband operation, and minimal signal loss are critical.
